Every number is one client, one date.
The figures on the case and proof pages are measurements of a specific client's site on a stated date, read from a file we keep. They describe what happened there. They are not a forecast of what would happen on yours.
Measurements move, including downwards.
Search engines and AI assistants change their behaviour without notice. A series published here can fall as easily as it rose, and when it does we publish that too.
Rulers change, and we say so on the chart.
When the way something is counted changes — more engines in a scan, a different query filter — the change is printed on the chart rather than smoothed out of it.
Clients are named only with their agreement.
The case pages describe real engagements. A company is named on them only after it has agreed; the numbers are unchanged either way.
